A new battery charger is getting attention for its durability, security, and affordability.
The $400 PowerShot G4+ is a compact, battery-powered charger that charges both phones and tablets at up to 50% of their capacity.
It has been built to withstand extreme temperatures and harsh conditions with the help of a proprietary cooling system that is designed to keep the battery from overheating.
“With the G4+, you can use it anywhere, anytime, with any battery,” the PowerShot website states.
“And the included thermal grease prevents your battery from getting too hot.”
“We know that you are in the market for a high-end smartphone charger, and we know that a charger that’s both durable and versatile is crucial to the success of your phone,” the company says.
“The G4’s rugged design and advanced cooling design keep your device running smoothly and cool.”
A company called PowerShot, which describes itself as a manufacturer of advanced battery chargers and devices, says it started developing the G5 charger in response to customer feedback.
PowerShot describes its design as “the most advanced battery charger ever developed.”
“The G5+ is designed with a durable, robust and low-cost design, allowing it to handle harsh conditions and be a great choice for a new phone or tablet,” the website says.
The G6 charger is also being touted as a great value.
“With a price tag of only $1,399, the G6+ is the ultimate value for your investment,” the site states.
The battery-equipped G6 Plus, which is $1 a month, comes with an optional thermal grease and can charge up to six devices at 50% capacity.
